What is this?

Now, someone tell me why should I vote and for whom should I vote.

All parties, the ruling and the non-ruling ones want us to vote. The ruling party cannot create enough facilities for quick and "non-typographically-wrong" voting cards. People in my city had to stand two to three hours in queue to get their work done. So, one hand we are made helpless by the system for which we intend to vote.

The non ruling party on the other hand has members who want you to cut your pe8i8es off!

So, on the whole, the whole Indian Political system has been marked with stains, very ugly ones. People call it one of the the world's largest democracy where freedom is restrained by the very people we choose. Even over here - http://www.amitranjan.com/2006/07/18/not-just-china-blog-sensorship-happens-in-india-as-well/

I believe each one of you who reads this knows about this. But the question that remains is, should we do something about it?

p.s. And people 'complain' that young-brilliant minds of India run away to US. Why wouldn't they?

Did the blog die?

Not just yet.

It's been a while since I blogged. And now I know who's fault it is - Facebook. Yes, facebook it is. I spend time hanging around that harvard product all day and that is precisely why I've forgotten about my dear blog.

I think I should regularize writing once again. My brain seems to have stopped thinking the way it used to when I blogged regularly.

So the 'happenning' news around me are:-

1. LS Polls in Ahmedabad and I'm proud not to vote. At least this time.

2. Ahmedabad drivers are sick. Since the time Ahmedabad was found.

3. It is really hot in Ahmedabad. Very hot. Highest in past six years. Damn it I need to find that alternative energy resource. [Kunni, do you hear me!?]

4. Narendra Modi should be the next PM after Dr.Manmohan Singh's second term.

Okay, that's all for now. No more blabbering. IT IS GOD-DAMN HOT IN AHMEDABAD!

Oh fcuked..!

Okay, this one's a nice beginning after the hiatus..

So the admission decisions period is almost over and my Congratulations to all those people and especially all the friends I made through this period for getting accepted to premier American Universities.

As for me, I feel that I had been a n00b throughout this whole thing, so shouldn't have expected much..Got rejected from all the schools I dreamt of attending.

Only university that's really interested in accepting me presently is Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN. It's pretty good university. Well known engineering courses and a good rank.
Hopefully, I'll attend it. [Purdue_random_FACT#21: The Indian Community at Purdue is as big as 1100..!]

Well this post is enough I guess.. I should sleep.. I hope to keep updating my blog with a new vigor and better posts now onwards..

I sound terrible. It never used be like this on the blogs. Anyway, things should get better..soon..:)

p.s. There's something wrong with blogspot. The word wrap feature seems to be missing..

Life after decisions aka MIT decisions

No one from all the people I knew got accepted to the M.I.T. Class of 2013.

Does it feel bad? Yes, it does.

Why? Not much because of the me getting rejected. But if I was accepted, I wouldn't have had to miss all those smiles on my Mom-Dad-Grandfather-Friend]'s faces. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have even made to it to the decisions!

I was going to blog about the following story irrespective of what the decisions come out to be. This was something my EC told me during my interview.

He said,"I had this friend of mine who applied to MIT along with me but was rejected. So he joined the IIT-B and decided to apply transfer.

He applied transfer but yet again was rejected. So he completed his graduation at IIT-B and applied for Post-graduation. And this time, he got in.

With six months into M.I.T. he didn't finding M.I.T. as interesting as he thought it was. So, he dropped out. Yes, he did! But during the same time, he figured out something that he found interesting.

He made that thing and a a very big multinational company bought it. And he got millions of dollars."

He continued,"So don't you get upset if you are rejected from M.I.T. Things have a knack of turing out beautiful, provided you let them to. If not M.I.T., you'll get into some other right college which will surely yield you something. And that can be anything; it could be some work, some sport or even a girlfriend! The only thing is, you let it happen."

And then, he asked me to see this.

Hello world..once again.. ;)

So, it's been a long long time that I posted a post on my blogpost. For one reason, I took time getting over my illness. And when I did that, I realized I missed up on lot of productive time. So, I did something what a normal teenager generally does. Procrastinate. But this did give me enough time to think back on the past few months and loads and loads of other things.

One important thought that struck me is that I should make my blog more interesting. Its kinda boring just reading someone else's life accounts. There should be something that's unique and really interesting about my blog. So, my blog should be expecting something new soon. But yes, the theme nor the head-pic is going to change!

Another important news: MIT RD Decisions: 03/14 1.59pm. Matt sure has his MITness brimming inside him even now! And that is something I've always loved about MIT! So, here's wishing every RD applicant to MIT and other Universities, tons of luck and divine help/miracles to get admitted at the right college for each of us!
